Catwoman present at Chiller Theatre! A view of Gotham Parkway!

The Catfan himself, Timothy Forbes, stands in front of a celebrity vehicle, the "Rock Star" Batmobile. This vehicle, owned by Dan Rodriguez, appeared in the 2001 movie Rock Star. He is also "webjefe" of Dan's site.

Meeting friends on Saturday!

Friday night was clearly a time for getting settled. I did enter the show, and managed to briefly spot Noel Neill, as well as Lee Meriwether, William Schallert and Larry Hagman. However, I was already tired out by 5 p.m. and did not feel like doing much of anything at all.

And I do have to confess something: I get phobic when it comes to meeting celebrities. Wally Wingert told me this weekend that they are basically the same as non-celebrities, putting on their socks the same as everyone else. Your truly has had a low self esteem, and worried that he might look like a jackass to these people.

Somehow, though, I managed to meet Leonard Stone, a character actor who has performed in movies (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, 1971) and in TV shows (Dragnet 1967, The FBI, The Partridge Family). Mr. Stone is also one absolutely sweet man! He had traveled with Wally and his girlfriend, Christine.

Saturday was another day. After getting some needed rest, I entered the show, and made my way to the "Rock Star" Batmobile and the Black Beauty (The Green Hornet). I was looking for Batman and Catwoman, and did not find them. However, I ended up back in line for the hotel, and with Ernesto Hernandez of Gotham Customs. Ernesto makes custom-made 12-inch action figures, and they are works of art!

This would be one bitterly cold Saturday, but when you are with friends (see below), you have a great time nonetheless. Ernesto, by the way, is standing next to me.
