The Batmobile
Not an exact replica, but it has red sidewalls
A 1966 Batmobile made it appearance at the Free Comic Book Day, showing up in clear view for motorists driving on NYS Route 9N. Owned by a man named Chris ("chrislana" on the 1966 Batman Message Board) who lives outside of Saratoga Springs, this is a cool George Barris Batmobile replicar, but it is not an exact one. As you can see, the windshield in front is different than the norm.
Still,this was one very popular car!! People loved it! The vehicle has been exhibited in other venues, and will be on display at an auto show in Syracuse in July 2009.
