Catfan makes his debut!
First US appearance as the "Thrillkiller" Batman!
This event marked my first US appearance as Batman, and perhaps the first one of a “Thrillkiller” style Batman (based on the graphic novel set in 1961-63. While two little children were scared to pose with me, other kids were happy to do so, and I gladly obliged.
The weather was cool for quite a while, but then it got a little warmer. Getting in and out of the Batmobile was challenging. But the strangest experience was having lunch in Stewart's with Chris, the Batmobile owner. There I was, eating in full costume while locals looked at me!! Incredible! I should have had an Adam West quote readied for that one!!!
