Page 5: Meeting Isis!

By the time Isis aired in 1975, I had long since stopped watching TV on Saturday mornings. However, I was aware of the show.

And JoAnna Cameron, the star, was sitting near the table I was working at.

Loretta "Leahblueeyes" Stirewalt took me over to meet Ms. Cameron. I confess that I was nervous meeting celebrities, and I still am, at least on some level! However, this was a very pleasant experience! JoAnna Cameron is a friendly lady, and great to talk with! We discussed a few things, and seemed interested in my Web site on The FBI. Loretta took the photo of Ms. Cameron and myself.

Some interesting facts:

• Isis was not actually based on an existing comic book character. Filmation Studios wanted to own the character outright.
• In Batman: The Animated Series, Selina Kyle's cat is named Isis
