Gatúbela has enchanted television and movie viewers since she first appeared on the Batman TV series on 17-18 March 1966. By that time, Lee Meriwether was on her way to appear as the Feline Fatale in the 1966 Batman movie. In the 1970s and '80s, her appearance was restricted to Saturday morning cartoons. Michelle Pfeiffer rectified this in 1992 with her powerful performance in Batman Returns.
Since then, her comic book popularity has fueled numerous appearances in cartoons, in the 2004 Gatúbela movie and in an increasing number of independent fan films. Catfan's Feline Fatale Follies wants to chronice each production involving Catwoman.

Fan Films: An increasingly important creative outlet
